How To Join The League (As @ June 2017)

Any club who would like to join the League should apply, either by email or by post, to the League Secretary Carolyn Franks. Her contact details are:-

When applying please ensure you provide the following information to support your application:-

Full Club Name

Contact Details (Applicant) - The name, address, email & telephone number(s) of the person applying and their role within the club.

Club Formation & Affiliations - Please confirm when your club were formed and that you are affiliated to England Athletics. Please list any other athletic or sports governing bodies your club is also a member of.

Club Base/Headquarters - Where is your club based? Please indicate the city, town, suburb or village etc.

Club Membership - Is your membership "open" to all or perhaps "limited" e.g. to employees, students?

Club Colours - Please describe the design & colours that make up your club vest (if possible please send through a photograph).

Estimated number of members eligible for the League - Please indicate the number of senior/junior male runners in your club.

Does your club take part in any other cross country league(s)? - Please indicate e.g. North Midlands, Gloucester League etc.

Officials - Does your club have any "endurance" qualified officials? If so how many and would they be willing to help out at League fixtures through the season?

XC Courses - Does your club have a local cross country course, with suitable parking & changing accomodation, that might be suitable for a League race? If so provide outline details. Would your club be able and willing to host a future fixture?

Any other information - Please provide any other information you feel would be useful for us to know when considering your application.

IN ORDER FOR THIS APPLICATION TO GO TO THE EXECUTIVE & THEN THE AGM PLEASE APPLY BY THE END OF JANUARY.

THE AGM IS HELD IN MARCH & CLUBS WILL BE INFORMED AFTER THIS DATE IF THEY ARE ACCEPTED INTO THE LEAGUE.

We would like to remind clubs considering applying for membership that this is a senior men's league. A senior women's league also exists and clubs wanting to apply for that should make a separate application to the Midland Counties Women's Cross Country League. Details should be available on the MCAA website.
